Musical Theater in English for Children
Summer Workshop 2025
Class Description
This half day camp is a fun introduction to performing arts for children. It teaches vocal, dance and acting skills, in a creative, supportive and fun environment. Children will learn from age appropriate musicals or films and develop a fun dance routine that helps improve musicality, rhythm, coordination and self-expression. Through role play and drama games, young children get to stretch their imagination, experimenting with words and feelings. Join us and look forward to watching your child act and dance in our-end-of-the-week parent showing on the final day of the workshop.
Level Requirements
No previous experience required. Some understanding of English is helpful for this camp! If you're not sure if your child will enjoy this workshop, please come to a trial session in Musical Theater in one of our weekly classes.

Please be inside the studio to pick your child up at 1PM!
If your child is allowed to walk home alone, please give us your written your permission.
Studio show: Friday at 12:45
What to Wear & What to Bring
Clothes and shoes: Please wear freestyle, tight-fitting activewear (Leggings, leotard, dance shorts, tight fitted tops). Clothes should not be restricting and also not baggy. Dance classes can be in either Ballet slippers or Jazz dance shoes. Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studio! Hair should be pulled up and away from the face. Please bring a water bottle.
Snack: Be sure to also provide your child with a healthy snack.
Workshop Confirmation Info
It should be understood that the workshop requires a minimum number of participants. If the registration list does not meet the minimum number of participants required, the workshop will not happen and your payment will be refunded. Typically, we will confirm the workshop one week before. If you need the confirmation earlier, please send us an email.
